Check out the most recent Dolphin Log
The Winter 2017 issue of the Dolphin Log is now available for download.
On the cover: A Photo of the beautiful, new weather vane in the shape of a, you guessed it, dolphin. Donated by Rich Cooper and photographed by John Grunstad.
Also: Kevin Shanahan tells the riveting story of survival after getting taken by the currents and stuck on the pier on a cold February day, (illustrated expertly with a painting by Anne Sasaki); Swim Commissioners Terry Horn and Duke Dahlin report on the Oroville Push; Naphtali Offen finally explains what the Shepinsky family is all about; Rich Cooper writes about the heavy double Charles M. Farrell, which turned 100 this year. There is also a beautiful tribute to California historian Kevin Starr by Chris Kelly.
