KALW Audiograph January 29, 2014

Casey came to the Club earlier this month, and the station has been playing the snippet of water splashing and her saying “very cold”… all week.  Today they did a 9 minute story on her time at the Club; Jon Bielinski and Melissa King are her guides.

Pier 41 Update

Reminder – Pier 41 swim tomorrow morning!
The test swim went smoothly and the ebb was as expected. The Jump time remains the same for 10:00 a.m. Due to the large number of swimmers signed up, 80 + (wow-eee!), we are opening sign-in from 8:15 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. In order to keep the process moving smoothly we ask that you: (1) Register with USMS in advance and (2) Bring your $40 swim fee. Swimmers will also need to sign a waiver. Also, if possible, please do your best to avoid any late or last minute check-ins. We want to try to avoid any last minute rushes at the desk and aim to jump on time!
Reminder: In-town members must successfully complete three swims and pilot or help on at least two others to swim Alcatraz and/or the Golden Gate. Only one Help credited per swim.
See you tomorrow!

Dolphin Swim Parka Orders

If you’d like to order a Dolphin Swim Parka, please let Roxy know. She needs the size and name for front of coat. She will place an order next Monday (January 27) for all orders with $100 deposit (bring check to swim this weekend or let her know you’re leaving in her box); full cost for your order looks to be $205.40. All questions to Roxy!
